Letterpress is a timeless craftsmanship. Using an antique 1893 printing press we handprint and foot treadle each and every invitation we produce. Printing in this way is a slow and time-consuming craftsmanship that results in the most beautiful tactile impression into our cotton rag papers. As such we recommend to our brides that they book into our studio at least 6 to 8 months prior to their wedding. This ensures enough time to have your stationery package custom designed and printed in this timeless manner.

When printing letterpress, as each sheet is handfed the more colours you choose to print, the more expensive the printing becomes. We recommend to our clients that printing a maximum of 2 colours for their invitations and 1 colour for the rest of their stationery ensures that their stationery is affordable, but still unbelievably beautiful at the same time.

Our services include letterpress invitations, save the date cards, reply cards, thankyous, maps, accommodation and information cards, order of services booklets and programs, menus and place settings. We include complimentary designs for all of our wedding clients to suit their wedding styling, theme and location.

Six Months-

Before beginning your stationery options decide on your wedding theme/colours
Select the stationery elements you would like to incorporate eg invitation, reply cards, menus, order of service etc and how many of each you will require
Meet with your stationer to discuss designs for your chosen wedding theme/colours
Book your favourite stationer and begin your invitation wording, font selection and final design.
